The North Pole is probably the least explored part of Earth despite hundreds or even thousands of expeditions to the land. Its first explorers blazed a firm trail for others lucky enough to visit and discover the land of snow, ice and extreme weather. The Soviet paratrooper Vitaly Volovich, who was one of the first ever to parachute at the North Pole and a pilot, who participated in numerous trainings to the Pole, tell their story. This videostory is produced by RIA NOVOSTI and the reporter Ekaterina Chernyaeva.
