This programme was recorded in Kirkenes during the debates organised within Barents Spektakel days in February 2012. Russian and Norwegian politicians, scientists and researchers tried to depict the situation in Russia between the parlamentary elections which took place in December 2011 and the presidential elections that will be held in March 2012. The political tendencies in the largest country of the Arctic raise a lot of serious concerns, especially among the Russia's neighbouring countries. Many of this topics and facts are never mentioned openly in the todays Russia where the opposition is in fact isolated from the traditional communication channels with the society.
